Nigerian Super Eagles on Saturday defeated the visiting Algerian Desert Foxes by 3-1 in a 2018 World Cup qualifier. The duo of Victor Moses and team skipper Mikel Obi scored both goals with Moses scoring a brace in the tension soaked match in the South-south city of Uyo in Nigeria. The Nigerian team now top Group B with six points while Cameroon are second with two points after two draws. Zambia and Algeria stay at third and fourth respectively with one point apiece.
